The Salomon Freeski Grom Camps are freestyle ski camps, held all over the country at indoor snow slopes® and outdoor dry ski slopes. They are now known, not just for top notch coaching, but also as a community for the UK's top young freestylers.

There is no age limit; the youngest camper so far was 5 and the oldest 60+. The camps are also for all standards of skiers, from 'never jumped before' to sponsored riders. We do require all campers to be able to ski down the slope in a controlled and safe manner but it is not necessary to have ever tried freestyle before. We also require all campers to wear a helmet (you can borrow one from the slope if you don't have one).

We have different groups for different levels of skiers so as to make sure everyone gets the very best coaching from our professional skiers and we make it as much fun as possible. The camps are run by Pat Sharples, team manager for Salomon and Oakley, and he employs only the top name coaches in the industry including Andy Bennett, James Woods, Joe Tyler, James Webb and Becky Hammond. After each camp we show video highlights of the day and reward the campers with prizes for the most improved, hardest working and best tricks of the day. The sponsors always put in great prizes, including: t-shirts, caps, rucksacks, headphones, goggles and sometimes even ski equipment or computers!

The cost of each camp is £30 and this covers slope fees and coaching.
